Digi EKey coding instructions

Important!
To identify an ‘on-board’ or a ‘stand-alone’ receiver:
Switch the wall console to LOCK, then press an existing digi EKey transmitter.
A clicking noise from the operator indicates a ‘stand-alone’ receiver is in use, otherwise an ‘on-board’ receiver is in use.

 


Adding a digi EKey to a Digidoor 24 and Digidoor II (with ‘on-board’ receiver).
Recording a digi EKey via the wall console.

 

  1. With power on, ensure the light is off using the light toggle button.
  2. Press and hold the light toggle button.
  3. The light will come on and after 5 seconds go off.
  4. Release the button and the light will come on again.
  5. Within 30 seconds, press the required button on the new digi EKey transmitter.
    (If 30 seconds is exceeded the controller exits programming mode.)
  6. The light on the Digidoor will go off.
  7. Press the same button on the transmitter again, the light on the Digidoor will flash repeatedly.
  8. The new transmitter is now ready for use.

Erase all (Note all previously recorded digi EKeys will be erased).

  1. With power on, ensure the light is off using the light toggle button.
  2. Press and hold the light toggle button.
  3. The light will come on and after 5 seconds go off.
  4. Continue to hold the light toggle button.
  5. After a further 5 seconds the light on the Digidoor will flash indicating memory erased.
  6. Release light toggle button.

 


Adding a digi EKey to digi ‘stand-alone’ EKey receiver.
Warning! If the LEARN-LINK is left connected it will erase all previous codes.

  1. Briefly connect the LEARN-LINK in the LEARN position inside the receiver.
  2. Remove the LEARN-LINK and the LED will light solidly.
  3. Within 30 seconds, press the required button on the new digi EKey transmitter.
    (If 30 seconds is exceeded the receiver exits programming mode.)
  4. The LED will switch off.
  5. Press the same button on the transmitter again, the LED on the receiver will flash.
  6. The new transmitter is now ready for use.
  7. Note: The receiver can store 33 codes, the 34th code will replace the 33rd.

Erase all: (All previously coded remotes will be erased).

  1. Connect the LEARN-LINK in the LEARN position inside the receiver.
  2. After 10 seconds the LED will light for 1 second indicating all codes erased.
  3. Remove LEARN-LINK and put it in the OPERATE position.
